Excellent choice...I've got two Scofield albums, What We Do and Grace Under Pressure. Some great jazz licks in there. A very versatile guitarist who has added more funk and soul aspects to his recent work.

Definitely worth a listen...

As with many jazz artists, it's about the lead guy, not the whole band, and John has been around for at least 30 years. Most of his albums have been released as a solo artist (obviously with a band backing him up), and I think only a couple of albums were released under "John Scofield Band" name. Anything by John is good...if you like the sound of this track, you want to look into the two albums released by the "John Scofield Band," Überjam and Up All Night, but definitely give his other stuff a listen as well.
