I've got a Bose Soundock and whenever my iPod is in it, (overnight etc,) it gets charged up, (as the Bose is plugged in.) Is this harmful for the iPod?

If it was harmful, we'd be hearing reports from irate Bose/iPod owners. I think it's perfectly safe.
