Safai Find Highlight Colour - can it be changed?

Lets face it, Safari highlighting what you want it to find in a pale grey isn't a good idea.

Mozilla knows where its at, with a bright green box around the word.

Is there any way to change the colour of highlight when it finds something?
 
System preferences -> appearance -> highlight color

edit:
I should mention it changes the highlight color system-wide.

Safari uses whatever colour you've sat in System Preferences -> Appearance -> Highlight Color (edit: just like KT said 😉)

If it doesn't get this colour you need to have focus on the Safari Window. If the focus is elsewhere it "greys out".

But when hitting the next button (in the find window), you can't focus on Safari. 😕

That's what cmd-G is for... 😉

Just use cmd-F - type your search string - hit enter to get the first hit (and close the find window) - then cmd-G to get the next, and the next, etc. (shift-cmd-G for previous). 🙂

Edit: Or even better, get a browser that supports "Find as you type" (or install AcidSearch to get this function in Safari).

what a great shortcut, i always hated the way the find worked.
