IIRC the Airport express is the one that plugs right into your wall right?
You'd be better off buying from your local store (if you really need the iTunes streaming feature) or just buy a plain jane router (if you don't).
Getting elsewhere may have other complications, such as voltage not matching, the plug not fitting.. and of course, no warranty coverage from Apple NZ.

I currently have a bose sound dock... which ONLY can listen music from my ipod. i guess i wont be using the streaming music service

its so small and compact and, i may be able to plug an external hard disk into the airport right?

Hmm.. that's 10% more expensive than Australian pricing, and our pricing is already like 10% more than the Americans!
But don't forget, if you get from US dealers you have to pay sales tax as well. Either way you may want to look at setting up an account with myus.com (not affliated, but happy customer!)

The USB port on the Airport Express/Extreme is only there to plug printers in and do wireless printing. Other USB devices will just sit there acting deaf and dumb.

Exactly. If you do the price conversion and take into account the fact that tax is included in your prices and not in US prices (although their taxes are lower than yours, but that's not Apple's fault), and you'll find that Apple is only ripping you off a little bit. 😛generik said:
