Does this sound like a problem?

Hi everyone, ok my iMac (G5 isight) has been repaired by my local store four times now (including three motherboard replacements, and one screen replacement) After a three week absence, I've had it back for four days now, and in that time I've noticed that the clock is constanly off. I've done all the resets (PRAM and PMU etc) I can think of, and it's still off by hours. It doesn't matter if it's set to "automatically detect" or not. Additionally everytime I wake the computer after leaving Safari running the computer freezes for about a mintute or two before working. Last time we were at the store for the fourth time, my parents and I got mowed over by Apple associates (lol) who refused to answer our questions about a return/refund/replacement. What do I do now? And are those iMac issues serious?

I'm guessing the clock is shutting off because of the internal battery? I'm not sure.

Hmmm....idk. I thought the motherboard controls the clock or is there actually a battery involved? Is there something I need to zap? The clock didn't have a problem before the repairs, only since the last one. :o

cause your computer doesn't shut off completely when you unplug it. There is a little battery inside that keeps the clock running.

Interesting...but I thought zapping the PRAM/PMU should've fixed this. Would the battery really run out before a year? I have a old clamshell ibook and it's clock battery or whatever hasn't run out yet. I'm so confused :confused: And even I do get this fixed, I'm still worried about the momentary freezes my iMac keeps having...
