Only interested in the last revision on these, looking for a reasonable price.

Also, looking for a laptop, that can handle word-processing and internet access, that isn't extraordinarily old...$400 is considered steep on this one.

I have a 15" 1.5ghz powerbook with a gig of ram and an 80gb hdd. I am not sure if this is rev D or E though.

I also have an 800mhz iBook G3 with 640mb of ram a 30gb hdd and a cd-rom drive. It sounds like just the machine you want for word processing and whatnot. Make me an offer.

Your 15" is a revision D. All revision E 15" PowerBooks are 1.67GHz.

Sorry, I'm having to work out of the computer lab and their operation hours are dumb. PM sent to Magid regarding G3. All other PM's answered. I appreciate everyone's flexibility.

I'd like to thank everyone for the excellent deals you offered:D
Can't say that I expected this much feedback.
I am still looking for a decent word-processing/wireless portable. Thanks again!

Mine is a 1.67 but I don't think it's the last one...how can I tell?

i think the easiest way would be if it has a DL superdrive.

the easiest way is to check your resolution ;)

if it is 1440x960 ( 15" ) then its the final rev.

if it is 1680x1050 ( 17" ) then its a final rev.

anything else. then its not a final rev. :)
