Is there a way around virtual pc for mac from Microsoft? Kind of, actually there is this program that runs only on intel boxes for linux and unix that allows the user to run Windows programs without windows itself. If Apple can somehow port this code over to Mac OS X, and simplify it and integrate it into the operating system, thier system will be able to run any program the market has to offer: Mac/Unix/Windows.
Will Apple actually do it? The problem I can forsee is that once they make this, why would developers make Mac software? They would have no reason to because all the developers would make only Windows software, and it would all run on the Mac.
Apple could develop this inhouse, and if Microsoft gets out of hand, then they can use thier own impllementation of wine.
What do you guys think?
