EyeTV 200 or EyeTV 250?

Hi I'm new to this forum. i just read the an earlier thread about EyeTV. I'm considering buying an EyeTV, but which one? I'm leaning towards looking for the
model 200 because of its firewire connection vs the USB 2 in the 250. Any advice? Thanks
 
If I were making a media center that I'd use to burn my shows onto dvd I'd go for the 200 seeing as how it records in better quality. If I just want to watch tv and maybe record a couple shows to delete later I'd pick the 250
 
Thanks for the reply. I need to upgrade my Mac also. Could I use a Mac Book or do I need the iMac or mac Book Pro? Thanks
