I just bought a 1ghz TiBook at the Apple Store, and its really fast, but what do you think the next models will have over this one?

I figure:
DDR RAM
Bluetooth Extreme
Backlit keyboard

What else? Should i return this and wait? How long do you think it will be until the new models come out??

It will have the same feature that the new 12" and 17" PBs have in common (Alu, AE, DDR, etc.), most likely will add FW800 since this is more of PRO machine.

Not sure about the backlit keyboard, etc.

I am waiting to see what the prices of the current models will drop to when the new 15" comes out :D

I think it is safe to assume that new 15" PowerBook will have identical specs as the new 17" PowerBook, except for the backlit keyboard. I think 17" PowerBook is marketed as truly luxury laptop and one distinguising key feature is the backlit keyboard.

If anything, I think it might be possible that 12" PowerBook will be upgraded to 1Ghz processor whereas 15" and 17" PowerBook will get 1Ghz+ processors. And maybe even x2 SuperDrive capabilities in 15" and 17" PowerBooks?
