I don't exactly get what a feeler means, I think it's to get an idea of what somethings worth, sorta?
Well anyways I was wondering about how much this would be worth. I probably won't be ready to sell it for about 2 months though.
15" Powerbook G4
1.25 Ghz
1GB Ram (2 x 512)
80GB Hard drive (Just replaced, only a few months old)
Superdrive
AP and BT
And it has some pitting on the right side palm rest.
I apologize if this is inappropriate use for the marketplace since I'm not selling right now. If that's the case, I guess a mod can delete this :o .

That sounds reasonable I guess.
Pitting is little black spots that show up. I guess from the paint coming off or something. Here is an example, mine isn't nearly as bad as this though.

You don't happen to still be under warranty? I have a 12 inch powerbook with very slight pitting and I called in. They say that they're going to send a box in order to take a further look at it.

I personally think that's a great price, but seeing as how a lot newer PB's like 1.5's and stuff have been going for $1000 at the most, I'm not sure you'll get that much on here....try eBay perhaps.

Also, I think you'll get less in 2 months. By then, there is probably going to be new MBPs out and MBs out, thus putting downward pressure on the whole market.

But the thing is, I'd like to wait for a new revision of MBPs before I buy but I don't want/can't be laptopless for a few months. I bet if I put it up on ebay the day new ones are released I'll be able to get about the same price. Most people buying stuff like that on ebay aren't up to date with the going ons around Apple.
And ricg, no it's no longer under warranty so there isn't really anything I can do about the pitting.
So you guys all agree I'll be able to get about $800 - $900 US?
