I have been looking for an iBook G3 (clamshell)...of any color & speed. I want it to be in near mint condition (no cracks, scratches fine, and i don't need the box just pack it CAREFULLY). I am worried buying from eBay because some of them might be in worse condition than it looks (if it was a PowerBook that's one thing). If I bought one from here then I could actually question what is being offered, and know more about what I am paying for :)
Anyway, I really don't care what color it is. The least preferred color would by tangerine but I am open with those offers also.
If it is not lime, a reasonable price seems to be around $175 and under. (for 300 MHz ones) but will .... look at prices above.
i guess
Also I'm in the US and prefer not to pay for shipping from other countries, as that is rather expensive.
thanks in advance!

I was just looking at a graphite SE on ebay, going for $370 shipped using buy it now, ends in 15 hours. That seems like an awesome deal, he has comprehensive photos if you just ask...I think it gets expensive for sellers to list with several photos.

I purchased a really nice one recently for my girlfriend, she hasn't decided if she wants to keep it yet. It's the 466mhz Graphite SE with firewire, 10gb HDD, 320mb ram, DVD/CD-rom. It's in awesome condition! It runs 10.4.6 as long as you don't crank up your system preferences and disable dashboard, it runs MS office, and safari without a problem.

Awesome. Seems like it'd be expensive since it is top of the line, last revision. All I would use it for is safari & maybe itunes (no TV shows >_<).
Does it have an airport card (just wondering...)

It is merely airport ready, I think the internals are compatible with 802.11"a/b"...not sure about "g". However, there are countless online guides that will assist your airport modification. It might be easier to find an external wireless modem.
This clamshell is completely stock, I bought it from a very enthusiastic collector (I am literally the second owner).
I will notify you if my g/f decides she doesn't want it, she has poor eyesite and would be using it for word-processing. Though the backlight is strong, the resolution is fairly low (800x600).

I have a 300mhz, 160mb ram, blueberry clamshell I'd be willing to sell. I have 2 batteries for it, two keyboards, and I believe two power adapters (though I'd have to look again). I'd do it for around $150.
