Does iSight work with skype

Hello,

Can someone tell me whether isight works with skype or not. I just bought the iSight because grandparents are on windows based skype on the other side of country. If isight won't work with skype, then I'd like to return it before I open it. The folks at the Mac store didn't know whether it would work or not. --tim

It's shocking how looking at the download page for Skype could inform your question...

So the answer is yes, but you should know that Skype with Video is a beta on Mac at this point... if you did not already know this.

FWIW... Mercury Messenger and possibly aMSN for MSN also support iSight...

Skype just released a video beta. Search the forums -- there have been a few threads on it.
