View Full Version : WTB: 1.25Ghz MacMini or 700Mhz+ G4 iMac for <$350.

Hey guys, my mom said she'd like to get a Mac on the cheap to replace our Windows desktop after she saw my Macbook. After discussing things with her, it's apparent she only cares for email/web browsing/typing documents. I figured either a base MacMini or G4 iMac would do her well. I just saw a G4 700Mhz iMac with 368MB Ram with KB/Mouse and speakers for $350. Apparently it has already been called for. So, while it would of been great, it must just not be meant to be.

Anyhoo, either reply here or give me a PM. Also, I don't mean to be a jerk to anyone, so I just like to throw out that I'm still not sure my mom will make a purchase, and this is all kind of preliminary.

I know it's a tad bit more than you were looking to spend, but I have my iMac G4 for sale here (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=219759). It's an 800 MHz iMac with 1 GB of RAM and in near perfect condition. It has substantially more RAM, a faster processor, and a better optical drive than the previous one. Let me know what you think!

I think there were some 1.25s on eBay recently (many of them) for $329 plus shipping. You might be able to find some for less.

What do you want them to come with for that price range? Mac mini are not that cheap yet for a good used one.

by the time you add power supply and shipping you'll be over 400$ with that ebay link.
but if your willing to spend a trifle more i'll sell ya my 1.25 oc'd to 1.5,1gb.100gb.,sd, wifi/bt ppc mm for 500 shipped inc orig combo and 40gb hdd.
