Why won't Nimrod import through iTunes?

Nimrod by Green Day won't import through iTunes. infact, it doesn't even show up on my desktop as a cd. It goes in and then a few seconds later slides back out again.


It's in mint condition not a scratch on it. The only thing I can think of is that I bought it in America a few years ago but a lot of my CDs are imports and they all import well enough...


What's going on?
 
Does it have a CD logo on the case? Chances are, it doesn't so there are no guarantees that it will play on any computer. It may be protected so that it only plays on audio CD players.

I have a couple of CDs that do that... most annoying.
 
The only logo on it is HDCD (Hi Def Compatible Digital) and I ripped it to my Windows machine a few years ago...


Really quite annoying since it's not exactly new so I doubt I'll be able to download it...
