How do I get an Avatar? I've looked in my 'User CP' options and don't see it there. I want to be cool too!

Also, how do I tell how many posts I have?

In the toolbar across the top of the page, click on "Quick Links" and then select "My Profile." Or click on your username in one of your posts and select the option to see your profile.

Edit: The "hammer" reference is an expression of frustration at the number of times this question gets asked. It's generally a good idea to have a look at the FAQs when you have questions like this.

Slightly different to this, would anybody mind explaining the numbers system for when you reach 100+posts, for example, I'm near 100 so that means I'll display MR Member 6102 or summat? Whats that all about?

Cheers guys

The user title categories (at least some of them) are also in the FAQ. The titles themselves correspond to processors Apple has used over the years.

I thought we solved this problem.
You can lead a newbie to the FAQs, but the only thing that really makes the information sink in -- is a beating.

I say they take a 10 question test about avatar facts before allowed to post, if that doesn't work then they get the beating.:D

Best way to get a lot of post is to smoke some w*** and drink some beer.....in the morning you'll have at least 512 post...good luck.

But then you need to race in and set the avatar before we mod you back down to 50 :p
