downloaded video can play but no sound

downloaded ice age 2 dvd rip off pirate bay but no sound.....

it says its a DVD rip... file format is in avi
 
we don't need to know that you downloaded something off of pirate bay, you're going to get flamed for that... ah... and for avi files. probably divx rip so i would get a divx plugin for quicktime like 3ivx or divx 6 from divx.com or use vlc.
