Description:: Looks like at least ONE potential announcement from today’s WWDC has finally made the transformation from rumor to reality. Faithful Macenstein reader rico has alerted us that VMware has finally got a (presumably) working product out, giving users “the ability to simultaneously run any PC OS—Windows, Linux, NetWare and others—on Mac OS X”.
VMware, although based on different underlying technology, acts similar to Parallels Desktop, in that it allows the user to switch between operating systems without rebooting (something Apple’s Boot Camp does not yet allow for). Additionally, with VMware you can drag and drop files and share applications between the different OS’s too.
