Hi
Looking to purchase or trade my great ( 9 out of 10 ) condition Nokia 3600 (http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/3600) for a Motorola PEBL (http://direct.motorola.com/ENS/web_producthome.asp?Country=USA&language=ENS&productid=30527). I'm highly interested in orange or green but black or blue would be fine. Red is at the "back of the bus" and no pink. Must be either locked to Cingular (http://www.cingular.com) or unlocked.

Offering $100 but may be able to do $100 + shipping / insurance depending. I know this is something of, not a severe, "lowball" but I'm not in any kind of urgency, trying to find a good deal on one. -- Duh! I was thinking somewhere along the lines of $50 + my 3600 as far as a trade would go.

Your Nokia 3600 is old. Like almost a 4 year old phone. Im sure Cingular allows you to upgrade now.

How about you get a SLVR L7 and I trade you a PEBL. It would be locked but Im sure we both can get them unlocked through our phone company

Hi
That doesn't sound fun. Foremost, I would still have to pay $150 + tax ( after a $50 MIR ) for a SLVR and I'd be just as well off paying that for a PEBL and cutting out a need to trade. Second, I don't think Cingular will unlock phones, very likely not for free. Finally, I purchased my 3600 aftermarket ( eBay ).

Thanks anyway.

I have an Unlocked Orange PEBL in perfect condition! I use it with Cingular. I wasn't intending to sell it, but let me think about it.

Just for info... Cingular will not be offering the pebl. so you have to either get an unlocked one or get one from a locked t-mobile and then get it unlocked. just thought i would put that out there.

Hi
Thanks for the info but I was / am aware that Cingular doesn't carry the PEBL...I just wanted to make it known that I needed it to work with my Cingular service ( SIM, network, ... ).

Hi
OK...Can I get some offers than?

I know it isn't the place but short reviews / comparisons of the PEBL against other phones you've owned might be nice.

here is my two cents to you...

your trade is a bad trade for the person who will trade with your. Your phone is used, and it can be bought new for 50 bucks on ebay. The ones used on ebay are sold way less.

The pebl, which is a new phone and still considered hot on the market would have to be crazy to trade it for nokia 3600, even if you give them 100 bucks because an unlocked on on ebay goes for almost 300 bucks.

As for the review, I have used the PEBL before but returned it because it doesnt get as good reception as the RAZR. It has no additional feature from the RAZR other than it has a nice looking case. After returning it I got a MDA (cingular has the 8125, which is basically the MDA just that it doesnt have wifi)because PEBL is an expensive phone for a lacking phone.

If you want a new phone I can sell you my unbranded and unlocked RAZR.

Hi
Ah...Probably at a premium as well. :) Unless I'm wrong. I'm not the kind of person who spends $300 on a cellular phone. I was looking for a deal on a newer phone.

FOR NOTE: My most important feature is reception. Second: BT, as I use it with my Macs to transfer photos, contacts, ... It doesn't even need a nice camera or things like that. I use the camera on my phone very rarely, I have a 4MP digi-cam for photo taking.

so why dont you get a RAZR then? If reception is the most important thing, the PEBL is not for you. RAZR has far better reception. With the RAZR I was able to get 1 or 2 bars in areas where everyone else was getting 0.

If you dont want to spend 300 bucks for a new phone that is understandable. I believe you can get a RAZR from cingular for 125 for extending your contract. You might even be able to get it for less if you are a profitable customer to them.

If your contract is completely expire, that is even better because you can goto letstalk.com and get a new PEBL for free with a headset after rebates when you sign up with Tmobile. Letstalk.com is also a very reputable company and alot of people from the HoFo forums swear by them for their rebates.

Are you offering?

Only about $50 less for RAZR than a PEBL on eBay.
