macbook memory(help)

I'am a macbook on friday can I upgrade the memory with just 1 1gb dimm or do i have to put it in a pair of 512's thanks:confused:

You don't have to upgrade in pairs. You can buy (and install) the 1GB chip. :)

I'd recommend you buy one chip, just so you can buy another one in the future to make 2GB
