What apps to put on CD?

Im making a cd full of small little aps for my friend whos just purchase dhis first mac. Im putting small freeware or shareware programs on there that he might find useful, things like Adium, sidewinder, garagesale, tomato torrent etc...

Anyone got any suggestions as to what I should include?

I'd also put quicksilver

Handbrake, VLC, Camino, iSquint, Lostify, MacTracker.

Here's my software backup folder. Might want to throw some Apple updates in there as well...

Onyx. All of those Coconut battery, wifi, computer info apps.
