View Full Version : WPA hex? HELP PLEASE

i just recently upgraded my broadband from roadrunner to fios. i configured the router to use WPA hex settings but i cant seem to setup my pb. i dont know if its WPA or WPA2 and personal or enterprise. can someone help me please.

AFAIK, WPA and WPA2 utilize alphanumeric passwords, not hexadecimal keys. WEP uses a hexadecimal key.

Enterprise requires a RADIUS server to authenticate, which you don't have. Any WPA connection you set up will be WPA personal.

here are some screenshots of my router. as you can see i have to enter a 64 hex code in order for me to use WPA. if i enter a phrase or anything else it will not allow me to go ahead.
