How to play .flv in VLC?

Is this possible? Or maybe in QuickTime?

The 2 .flv players that I have found are very very basic lacking ability to move the video back and forth or fullscreen (or something larger than 2"x2").

Google seach and MacRumors search has not netted any answers or quality options.

you can use iSquint to convert the .flv file to .mp4

I'm not sure but I'd be curious to know too. .flv blows, but that's no excuse. The only option at the moment is to convert it into something else.

It is possible in VLC - just drag them into the playlist and they'll play OK. No seeking, though.
