That was very well done. I liked the one where he would catch the rock on his foot and bounce it up to his hand.

That was awesome! The easiest part must have been the editing.

Yeah, same, plus I liked it, but it became to repetitive.
It was super cool. I felt the progression was too slow though.

you first see it and think, o thats easy! they just did it all in reverse and planned thier movement very carefully. but wait! that means they had to build all of those rock structures! how did they do that is what i want to know! must have taken hours to do each of them.

thats a nice tech video, but I'd have like a little story or something going on. Proof of concept? very interesting though, it certainly inspired me. but did get repetitive.

Meh. Not impressed. Cute, but not amongst the "coolest things I've ever seen." Sorry. Not trying to flame.

That's awesome. Those are some simple techniques that could be used to accomplish force-like effects in a Star Wars fan film...hmmm...I'm getting ideas :D

Some hippie films himself stacking rocks then knocks them over the plays it in reverse?
he should have filmed the part where he smoked a bunch of pot before he got this hair-brained idea and show that in reverse...

Cute, but always leave them wanting more. It's too stoned, after a while.

Interesting.
Some cool parts but overall too long and too much repetition.

They did show a few more interesting ones later in (like the jumping one), but for the most I agree, a tad repetitive.
Neat though. :D

That is pretty wicked, however I don't recommend watching if you are tired, the mind kinda implodes on you a bit.

what are you guys on about?
this little vid is uber cool!!!
i dont think it's meant to be a full feature film
it's just a cool little video that shows what innovative thinking can do when you don't have a budget of millions like big studios
super cool!!! :)
respect to the guys that took all that time to make it :)
who knows, maybe they'll make the next guinness commercial :)

I really agree here.
It's fresh (certainly something I haven't seen until now) and well done. They used a tripod too - so they must've been thinking ahead.
It's easy to slag this off as: "Yeah, that soo simple, I could do that too...". Same thing applies to certain works by Piet Mondriaan.

Nice little film, more effective if they´d cut out half of it. It´s known aw "kill your darlings" (or was it babies, can never remember).
People do not want to edit out things they spent a lot of time doing, hence too long

Or, if they didn't want to alter the length of their shots, use two camera's at the same time to film the same thing. Or use an improvised crane.
Like I said, I liked it lots. But the one thing that really bugged me, were the titles. They gave it a unneeded amateurish feel, really unworthy of what they had filmed.

um...
this isn't about just gimmicky filming. have a look at the objects he's actually manipulating and balancing--from rocks to sticks of various shapes and sizes. and these are all found objects, meaning that he constructed all of these by improvising. really, just try to do something like this and you understand quickly how hard it is. perhaps the martial arts aspect was overdone, but the filming to me is only a footnote to what was actually created.
sheesh. its not a like its full of special effects and tricks folks. I think the actual work with objects here is amazing.

Agree!
I must say it didn't feel original either. Yes what they were doing was perhaps originial, but there are thousands of music videos that do this, and thousands of commercials that do things like this...
