Well, my wife and I are a bit short due to some automobile emergencies (yay), so I thought I'd pop on here and offer a couple thingies for sale. I'd prefer Paypal, immediate payment, and so forth.

M-Audio Keystation 49e (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/2.RSLID?mco=D40F4FB8&nplm=T9095LL%2FA) -- $80 shipped?
It's this same model, in perfect condition. I've used it exactly 5.3 times since I bought it. Shipping is going to be a bit of a pain, since it's rather long and such, so be gentle with your offers.

Samsung SyncMaster 151v -- $75 shipped?
This is a nice little monitor (1024x768). The only problem is that there are two short (~1-1.25"?) scratches on the front, but they're barely visible during normal usage. I'm having a tough time with Macrumors' attachments right now, so I'm going to add another post with more pictures.

Or, uh, $125 for both. Or something. Don't worry about thread-crapping, folks, I just really need to get rid of these before we bounce a check or something.

I'm in the same boat as you, I really want to keep my Keystation, but I don't use it enough. And it looks like such a pain to ship.

Yeah, really. Especially after paying for two boxes to cut down, re-tape, packing peanuts.... it's a real pain in the ass.

I accepted about five years ago that I just wasn't a musician. No composition skills, no playing skills, and no real passion for it -- not like writing, certainly. I wanna teach my kids to play some instruments (I took a lot of music education classes in College 2.0), but that's several years down the line, and hopefully my wife and I will be in better financial straits then. It's a good keyboard, the problem is definitely me :) The best I do is occasionally open up GarageBand and twiddle for a bit.

Edit: Um.... picture of a puppy? Unfortunately, we're going to have to put her to sleep if I can't sell the keyboard and monitor. Yeah. That's what the bank said to us.

Your sales tactics are pathetic.

Pffft. I'm incapable of tactics. This is pure desperation ;)
