Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300016801508)Up for sale is an iBook G4 1.42GHz, 1.5GB RAM, 80GB HD, AppleCare, SuperDrive 8x and more.

This machine is flawless! It has been treated with magnificent care. It get's cleaned every week with iKlear, allowing it to shine like an Apple product should.

This machine runs the latest Apple operating system, Mac OS X 10.4.7!

It runs it perfectly and fast! It supports all of the highly power hungry features in OS X, such as the ripple in Dashboard, it supports Core Image! No other iBook has supported Core Image. You won't be sorry for purchasing this iBook, especially with all the added goodies!

This machine is unlike anyother! It has been customized to be the best Apple iBook ever made! It has:

Hardware:
1.42GHz PowerPC G4
1.5GB DDR SDRAM
80GB HD
Battery Life 4-5 Hours depending on what I'm doing
Wireless - AirPort Extreme (802.11G and B) and Bluetooth+EDR Technologies
14.1" Beautiful XGA Screen
AppleCare Protection Plan is included! It covers this iBook for 3 years total!
The keyboard was just replaced by Apple! I had the option to get it replaced for free and why not!

Software:
Mac OS X Tiger - 10.4.7
iChat
Mail
Safari
iLife '06(Disk not included, the disk was cracked by a relative on accident, iLife '05 is on the restore disks - if you do not have a license tell me before so I can take it off.)
AppleWorks
iWork Trial
MS Office 2004 Trial
...among many, many others - too many to list!

Condition:
This machine is in great condition - these iBooks are, however known for a few things:
Scratches, the polycarbonate plastic that this machine is made of is easily scratchable. The PowerBooks dent easily, these don't. Which would you rather have? Dents or little scratches?

Most, if not all iBooks have a problem with battery's hanging about a millimeter, if that, it is not noticeable, but I have to put it here to be honest. This does not affect the machines ability to run nor the battery's life.

Also, one of the feet on the bottom is missing, unfortunately. All the others have seem to stay on. It was just lost recently.

Other than those 3 things noted, this machine is in magnificent condition!
The pictures that you see are of the original machine! No copies from anyone else! They were taken when the machine was open brand new - what the machine looks like now!

How long is the battery life?

CompUser,

I get about 4-5 hours depending on what I'm doing. (and oops, I said "Battery Life" and stopped. :o)

And from Apple:
Our records indicate that your product is covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan and your estimated date of purchase was 10-Aug-05. Based on this data, your product will be covered by Apple service warranty for 726 more days.

How much would shipping be to Sydney, Australia? A relative is interested that lives there.
