5% Off Apple Computers at CompUSA

Hey everybody,

Through tomorrow, all Apple computers are instantly 5% off at CompUSA... part of their back to school sale. But here's the best part:

The Apple Store here in Charlotte offered to price match CompUSA... I just went in to buy a new Core Solo Mac mini (reg. $599), and when I pulled out the CompUSA sales flyer with its "5% off all Apple computers" listing and said "Can you match this?", they did. Saved about $30... not a huge sum, but still noteworthy.

So if you're going to go buy a Mac today or tomorrow, make sure you ask the Apple Store if they'll match CompUSA's price. 🙂

Or you can go to CompUSA if you dare. 😉
 
I dunno if you may post this here. It says no commercial sales. I didn't report it though.😉

Nah, I'm no squealer. I'm just gonna wait for Doctor Q, arn, Mudbug, Blakespot, Know, DailyTunes or iPodGear to find it, and judge! muahahahah!😀 😛

Well, there are no CompUSA's in Demark, and I'm not gonna buy a new Mac tomorrow, but thanks for the info...😉

Well, they have other stuff on sale, but I don't know exactly what. The sales flyer specifically says "5% off all Apple computers".

And I doubt this would work online with Apple, because their web site doesn't offer a "check competitors' prices" option. But you could try calling the Apple Store and see if a live sales agent will match the CompUSA price.

I just called the Apple Store here in Pittsburgh and asked about them matching the compusa ad and they said they wouldn't. 🙁 oh well

I called apple and said that they wouldnt match the 5% + edu disco.

This is Seattle store!

The one in ShadySide? I love that store. There are a few CompUSA around here if you're looking to buy a new mac. I live in Pittsburgh.😛

Do not forget about the Apple Store in South Hills Village!! Thank god they opened it because Shadyside was just a tad too far from the South Hills, esp having to go down 51 during rush hour, yuck!

The store in SH Village said they will match it if you have the ad with you.

Sweet...maybe I'll go there to buy my mbp instead. Do you think they would match it on top of the edu discount?

As said before, I DOUBT that they will do that! You can always try at least....
 
I doubt it too. But, I forgot about the South Hills store! I always go to ShadySide because it is closer.😎
