is there anyway to capture and record it so it could be burned on to a cd?

StreamRipperX (http://streamripperx.sourceforge.net)

Drag, drop and record. It's really easy.

I was also wondering this same thing.
Drag & drop to where? Into a playlist & record while it plays?
Sorry, but I am unclear.

You can drag and drop stream URLS straight from iTunes into the streamripper window. When it comes to playing/recording you press a butten to record and if you wish to listen at the same time you press another butten and it gets iTunes to play the file as it is created. Works very nicely imho.

Quicktime streaming server or Darwin Streaming Server...the first comes with Mac OS X Server and the latter is a free download for mortals. It also runs on Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris and windows.

or you could setup an Live365 or Shoutcast account which is what most of the ones you hear on iTunes use. it's really fun and fairly easy to set up and maintain.

Well, I tried it yesterday and it's really cool. It works very easy, altough it is not legal I guess.

Do y'all know how to get this program to work with the Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me (http://www.npr.org/programs/waitwait/index.html) link? When I just drag the "Listen now" it doesn't work.

when i open up the aforementioned "wait, wait" stream, it open in quicktime. any ideas how to associate it into realone, which I have installed on my system? I have tried reparing premissions (wasn't sure if that was what i would need to do), but to no avail.
