i remember hearing somewhere that i need an adapter to use certain airport cards in my imac, but know i can't remember :o

It will work, but you will almost certainly need the little holster/adapter thing. I just checked and it's quite a bit more expensive than I thought, but here's one.

Yeah, you can prolly find them for like....$15-$30 else where. $40 is too much.

Indeed. That's just the first thing I came across. I had been thinking they were like $5, though, so even $15 is more than I thought it would be. :o
