For those of you using version 1710 (or 1.7.1.0), there is a new version, as well as a new version numbering scheme.

One thing I found during the beta that may still be a problem is "view not found" and if you get this, reset to a default view.

- When a contact updates his/her display picture, the new picture will 'blend' into the old one.

- Sending keepalive messages, the chat connection will not timeout. As long as you keep the conversation open, you will always know when the contact closes it.
- Some small but required UI improvements
- Checking if a animated gif is 'broken' before showing it (broken gifs have no timeout between frames, cause 100% cpu)
