four stars. It would appeal to me more if there were sparkling diamonds scattered on the background.

Yeah, this was kind of the first real wallpaper I've ever created so that's why I need comments/suggestions for my upcoming Puma wallpapers.

Thanks for the complement though dude!

How is one the "NY" inspired version? You just picked a different colour?

Anyway, get some glittery diamonds on that Gold version, and I'll take it.

Aug 15, 2006, 10:29 PM
Where should the diamonds be? Just around the Puma logo?

Aug 16, 2006, 04:39 AM
Scattered, or in a matrix where they're spread out, but still ordered and evenly spaced apart.

Not too close together though, and the diamonds shouldn't be too big. You wouldn't want to make it look trashy. :p

Hey, you took someone elses logo and changed its colour!

Well done!

Aug 16, 2006, 05:17 AM
What are you trying to say, iVersa?

Aug 16, 2006, 05:22 AM
Im not trying to say anything, I said it without much trying at all actually.

Aug 16, 2006, 05:56 AM
It just sounded so ironic. Somewhat cynical.

Aug 16, 2006, 09:17 AM
Um, I did a lot more than just changing the color of the Puma logo. I added a texture I made from scratch, a very slight inner shadow, and a couple layers of omni lighting effects. I didn't say you had to like it.

I never said you did ;)

Puma - Silk Edition created by me, Afro1989, from scratch using Photoshop CS.

Size - 1280x1024

I am slowly but surely honing my Photoshop skills. I hope you guys like this one.

P.S. I have removed the "Afro1989" tag for a better look. I know you guys hate text. :P

So you learnd how to make the suede material in the design thread and applied it to your puma wallpaper. Why didn't you ask right away in the design thread?
Anyways, which method did you use? Looks like you used the lining structure filter.:)

Darn I was expecting a 24kt Gold version of the M12-LRV from Halo.:p

Oct 8, 2006, 01:29 PM
I like it but it could do with some more colour to separate the black. When will you be doing the diamonds??

Oct 8, 2006, 04:42 PM
I'll try to work on that, don't worry. :D

Oct 13, 2006, 11:08 AM
That would look sweet as a silver sparkle against the black background.

Puma - Chenille Edition created by me, Afro1989, from scratch using Photoshop CS.

Size - 1024x768

More Puma Variants Coming Soon! Check out my other Puma wallpaper versions.

Comments Please!

P.S. Sorry about the small size. I wanted to make a wall especially for those iBook users out there who aren't fortunate enough to own a Macbook yet. Don't worry though, I'll figure something out in the nearby future. (Maybe a remodeled version. *hint hint*)
