I relaunched the dock and Finder, restarted and it's still the same. It's changed in my Application folder but not the dock.

Hold th emouse button over the dock icon, then click on 'remove from dock', then find the actual application in it's folder, and drag that icon back to the dock.

Did you replace it manually or with an application like Candybar? IIRC the dashboard is one of those hard-to-get-to items 🙂

I did that and nothing changed.

I replaced it manually. But I replaced other ones with CandyBar.

Dashboard is a special icon like the Finder or the Trash, although it is an app. You really need to change it via Candybar.

I just changed it through CandyBar, but that didn't work either.

there is probably more than one dashboard icon you have to replace...

i remember i replaced my finder icon manually and had to replace more than one to do it..

search for more dashboard icons because i think thats the problem
