Upgrading the new macs?

Hi!! I heard that the new macs with intel chips were able to upgrade the processor chip. I have a macbook thats a 2 Ghz processor. Whenever apple upgrades their speeds is it possible for me just to swap a chip in there??

In your case you cannot just swap in the new processor as the laptop processors are soldered on so you will be unable to upgrade it...

As for the rest of the apple lineup you can swap new processors in and out as long as they use the same socket and meet the necessary power reqs.
