I broke down, got tired of waiting for Merom...I think I'll be happy with it :) Thank you also for your help with the ram, I've got 2GB on the way from ncix :D

I also stopped waiting for merom, but mainly since i needed it for school. THe way i see it the main advantage of merom is 64 bit and not enough apps take advantage of it yet.

They all look the same, but thats ok, its still cool to see a happy mac user with a new toy. . . I'd jump in too, but all I do is FCS / Shake so I think I'll benifit a large about with merom proc's.

Yeah a bit the same for me too (well I've got some time yet, but I want to have my 2gb of ram installed and have all my programs set up nicely before the first day of classes)
Not sure what I'm going to do with the Nano seeing as I have an old 20gb ipod thats still working nicely. Maybe I'll just use it like a shuffle, make a random smart playlist :p

Oh God don't start me on that. I bought the macbook without realizing that WWDC was so near and crossed my fingers all thru WWDC dreading the upgrades -_- Nothing came and after WWDC my macbook was deemed DoA. I returned it. Thought of waiting for the Meron since its likely that it's coming next month. Broke down in a day :( I just couldn't live with this hp pavillion after experiencing the power of OS X for two weeks lol.
