Hello folks.

I'm trying to make a sys 6 disk so I can boot mini Vmac emu.

I have the four ssw 6.0.8 disks.sea files.

I made an image on HFVExplorer

I copied those four files onto the image and if gave me a sys 6.0.8 dsk.

When I boot mini vMac, I get the blinking question mark.

When I move the sys 6.0.8 disk out of the folder onto the blinking question mark, nothing happens but I do get an X on the disk before it turns back into a blinking question mark.

What's going on (or rather, what am I messing up)?

Thanks in advance!

An .sea file is a Self Extracting Archive. It is not a disk image. You have to use it on some other classic mac to make a disk first.

Thanks dpaanlka!

It's always something.....Just when you thought you were on the right track.

Ok. So that's what SEA means. How about this. I have the file on my Basilisk emulator which can see it.

Can I create the disk image there?

Thanks in advance.
