... I sure hope not. When (not if) Apple comps me a new MacBook Pro (hopefully after they go Merom, assuming I time things right)
I assume home or professional will work, just not be able to take advantage of 64 bit... correct?

Both will run.
Not to mention that there is no way in hell the Merom MBP will support more than 4GB of RAM… :rolleyes:
EDIT: According to this (http://www.macintouch.com/readerreports/macpro/topic4363.html) someone has got x64 XP to run.

No. XP x64 isn't even supported by the MacPro.

Okay. I was just worried that somehow knowing Microsoft they would require a 64 bit OS to run on a 64 bit chip.
