Proc upgrade question...

I am thinking about upgrading my 350MHz B&W G3. I was looking at the Sonnet Encore G4 500 $299, Encore G3 500 $169, and the PowerLogix PowerForce G3 ZIF 800MHz $299. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these companies or these upgrade cards specifically. I was kind of between the two G3 cards because I don't run any Altivec enhanced software. Your comments are greatly appreciated. :D

If all you are doing is light duty work the Mhz might matter more then the G4 in that case I would go for the 800Mhz G3 upgrade.

I'll go against the grain and say go for the G4 500. Many tasks done by the OS are Altivec optimized plus you never know when Apple might decide to pull the plug on the G3 support. Although the 800 G3 may be faster, the G4 might give you more life.
