I just got a new Apple ADC-equipped 17" Flat Panel Monitor, and want to hook it up to an older G4/500 with the ATI video card - the one with both the VGA and DVI ports. Is there a converter made that I can get to use this monitor and computer together?

Yeah, apple have a small converter cable that converts ADC to DVI so you can connect it.

Yep - finally - found it. Man, this makes me mad. I wish Apple would pick a friggin' standard and stick to it! VGA, DVI, ADC, nothing common between any of the hardware and all the converters are a hundred bucks.

<huxley goes back to his G4, but once again contemplates the Dell laptop that lives amongst his many Macs>
