Strange printer problem - 999 copies

Here's the situation: I print at school over the network to 4 HP LaserJet 4050's and 4100's fairly regularly (not all at once of course), and one of them has a rather odd problem; no matter what application I print from, it tries to print 999 copies. The strangest thing is that it only occurs on 1 printer, and no other computers (including other iBooks running 10.2.4) are affected. I've checked all the settings and everything looks fine, so at this point I'm completely confused. Any ideas?

You probably already thought of this.
Something could be funky with the drivers or settings.
Reinstall for just that printer.
Also, unplug it for a time.

If all else fails, you'll need a old tech and a young tech, some holy water, and some bibs- should it start spewing pea soup during the exorcism.
