Yes, I believe Macworld is open to the public, although I have no idea how much it costs to attend.

According to http://www.macworldexpo.com/live/20/register, registration will begin in September.

It's usually, like, $30 to get in to see the show floor, more if you want to take classes.

Depends - do you want to see the keynote?

Absolutely open to the public... but not free, unless you have a media or VIP pass. I believe the full conference pass (floor, keynote and sessions) was around $150 last year.

$150 isn't bad. I was thinking more. Maybe because WWDC is like $1500 but that is a ton more than just a keynote.:o

Do they give all attendees ($150) some sort of event bag?

Nope. Just a badge and a catalog. You can buy bags and such on the show floor. BTW, floor passes can often be had for free, if you know where to look.

wow $150 is allot less than I thought, looks like I can use the extra money to fly 1st class to SF this year:)

Checking again (I've never had to pay myself), it was $300 last year for conference package which included the keynote. Floor passes were $35, but could be found many places for free. Hope that's not too disappointing.
