House... sadly:) But on a brighter note, 2 week until Season Premeire of House, and tomorrow the 2nd Season is out on DVD

they just showed season 2 finale on Fox... it was an awesome episode. last week they showed the episode where Foreman gets sick... he should get an Emmy for that episode...

correction; episodeS. it's a 2-hour one.

And yeah, I rewatched the season finale tonight, and I can't wait for the premiere!

I have to leave the house by 9:30 AM. So wake up at 9.

I'll be running errands and going down to the university for half the day...and the conference won't be over until 2:15 in the morning...it takes me a while to get to sleep...so I'm gonna say about six hours of sleep. Which isn't horrible but I'd rather be well rested.

that was terrible. maybe it was IGNs reporting technique, but that was so dull. nevermind. I just woke up and it wasn't too long ago. I'd say "gotta love Europe", but when this is the kind of video game press event we get they can stuff it.

I just checked out http://gonintendo.com/ and had a look at the BWii screenies, has anyone else noticed they are 1280x720 (720p)?

/me keeps dreaming of a Wii @ 720p

I'm a little disappointed. I mean, I know that Nintendo probably wouldn't use Germany as their launching pad for big announcements about the price and release date of the Wii, but I guess I was hoping that anything was possible. TGS? "Wii will not release any darn info"

Mario Strikers Charged and BWii are both confirmed to have online multiplayer modes. That in itself has me satisfied with the GC '06 Conference. Before this there was, what, Smash Bros.? There needs to be more than one game to make a successful online service.

I never had very high expectations for new info at Leipzig, so this is exciting to me.:D

I'm more a fan of the turn based Advance Wars but battalion war was decent on the cube. It didn't had enough replay value compared to its turn-based cousin. Online mode is kind of a fix but I hpe there is going to be a lot of offline content also.

I'd say that it's entirely possible, and to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised. They've already begun manufacturing (back in mid-June, I believe) so there are probably a good number of systems already available for shipment.

I hope the campaign isn't ridiculously short and a map making mode would be cool too. Coupled with Wii-Fi mode, and you've got yourself one awesome game.

My guess: Slim to none.

A month ago the vibe was really positive with lots of speculation it could be released as soon as September but the more time passed, the more the chatter hints it's going to be released almost as the same time as the PS3. It's the the impression I get by browsing a dozen of different gaming forum on a daily basis.

I sure hope not. We don't want any supply issues, and we also want lots of launch day titles.

agreed, it was a little disappointing for it's lack of any new info, but that wont change anything about the wii. we'll all find out the last details soon enough (sep. 14th?) anyways.

If you want a 360 get one. But if you don't have enough for what you want come Wii launch day - you will grow to hate the 360. I missed the UK DS Lite launch as my game budget had a PSP in the way.
though I suppose that depends on how much you like the 360 and how the Wii launch is. but nevermind the 360, get a regular Xbox. it's cheaper, has more games and can handle HD too.

Getting peed with Ninty lately

So far apart from Zelda I've seen little games available for launch on the wii that are making salvate, add that to the fact that Zelda is available for my cube : I'm starting to lose interest......

Nintendo need to provide me with something more, something that makes me go yay!!!!! like it'as €149 and includes wii sports..... available next tuesday :)

I've been saying that over to myself all day. I think it's going to happen. no evidence, no nothing. Just a strange feeling it's coming either on or just after the 14th.

Not a chance at this stage, logistically it's not going to happen, I was having a great conversation with the manager of the gamestop and he showed me office memo's and things about what's the current story with ps3 & wii as well as a heap of other stuff, releases (and I got a free gratis copy of prey - though its got promo on it :( so I cant trade it in :) ). Anyway - Nintendo have had NO discussions yet with stores - so the chances of a rollout in 2 weeks is nill. No time for promotion in store, no marketing decisions etc....

Remember apples available now doesn't relay on other distributors other than themselves - their stores, their online stores. Nintendo doesn't have that luxury and must organsise a huge shipping and store delivery process... To try and coordinate that, keep retailers happy and provide enough marketing material in all stores, in 3 continents in 2 weeks :rolleyes: Just is not going to happen for obvious reasons.

i'll probably end up waitin' for Wii launch day to get anything. after a while, a 360 is in my sight. (really wanna get Gears of War and Halo 3)

Are you kidding me? Nintendo never promised anything for Leipzig other than the keynote's name, we were just hoping.

If TGS next month and the September 14th press conference come and go with no new info, THEN you can get disappointed. But switching consoles over a boring press conference is just ridiculous.

I bought an Xbox when Nintendo ran out of the Zelda bonus disk from the UK site. silly me.

There were some third party games- Tony Hawk is online, FF:CC2 was originally supposed to be online though we haven't heard anything in months on that, and other third party games are speculated to be online. But definitely, yeah, more online games is nice :)
