TGS 2006: PS3 to Take over Tokyo

The two games out of that list I'd be mildly interested in playing are R: FoM and AC4. The rest? Meh. If I got a PS3 I'd have to rent them first.

I personally I'm interested in those games, I know nothing about the rest so they may either be a great game or a flop, I know nothing of the Koei games either but I like most of Koei's games.

Devil May Cry 4 is the one I'm interested the most about, I just hope they keep the difficulty level in par of what the US version of DMC3 was, now that was a lot of fun, maybe even *shock* put a difficulty harder than Dante Must Die (the horror), lol that'd be great but a little too hard for most.

I don't see Killzone 2 on that list... is it still even being developed? Could that be one of them?


My other guess would be MGS4.. but I'm not so sure that would be in playable form just yet. Still, I'm expecting a trailer. Can't wait for that. :)

Silent Hill 5 - things turn out nice for a change :)

ZOE 3 - more robots fight it out with cyber handbags under nightclub lights
SingStar - make me sound like a chipmunk and judge me on my pitch ? WHY?
EyeToy Porn Star - Were going adult with this new version. Ron Jeremey's got nothing on me baby !!!
Dynasty Warriors Supreme Edition - looks the same as the ps2 version, but comes with a nice badge.. Next gen fog never looked so good.
Tekken 6 - Super Tag Team Ultra Tackle edition
Final Fantasy XIII - can we milk the same thing any more times ? but with next gen random battles... GrrrrrREAT !!! :(

That naughty dog game looked sweet at E3 alright. Whether its in a playable state I'm not sure... We'll wait and see.

Primal 2 or Ghosthunter 2 would be awesome but havent announced plans to even develop so highly unlikey...

Actually thinking about it there are some obvious titles that will be around launch or early 2007. And mainly from 2 or 3 publishers (sega/ea/ubisoft etc.)

What about that Full Auto 2, Brothers in Arms, Call of Duty 2, Fight Night Round 3, NFS:Carbon, Tiger Woods 07, Tekken 6, Madden 07, Virtua Tennis, Blazing Angels, SplinterCell, Rainbow 6 Vegas.......

Boring but more likely in retrospect.

Primal 2 would be wonderful. Splinter cell, Rainbow six, BIA, COD3, Full Audo2, F.E.A.R sounds up the alley.

Wii / PS3 ? Both ? At the moment theres only 1 or 2 games I'd consider on either. Eventually I will end up with both though. :p Dont want my 360 to get an ego boost...

Well I will be getting both(I Won't have the time for both but oh well)...Only RFoM, Heavenly Sword and another one got me in motion right now and two on the other system as well...not really hype about them anymore....just going with it and waiting....and waiting.

Rumble would be a plus beacause living life with rumble these years and just snatch it away from me sucks!:)

the dude from IGN says his "sources" tell him that it is being developed still and probably won't see the light of day until xmas '07, who knows if he is right but...

But I'm still holding out for a trailer at least. When a Metal Gear game is in development, don't they tend to show off two trailers a year (One at E3 and one at TGS)? I think that was the case for MGS3.

well maybe because the E3 trailer from '05 wasnt actually the game so they don't wanna show anything until it is as perfect as it can be to avoid all the PS3 naysayers giving a collective "I-Told-Ya-So!"

In any case, that trailer from '05 was intense! every person i showed it to had the same :eek: look. Nevermind the if the graphics were ingame or not, if they make the gameplay like that it would be totally sweet :D


Edit: and on a side note, has anyone watched the trailer for Heavenly Sword? its the HD version from E3 2006 (ign has it), I hadnt seen it before. Damn the king did at the start looks amazing! the facial movements and textures look top notch!

hopefully on actual PS3's, or at least computers made to look like them (what people dont know won't hurt them);) otherwise Sony is gonna have a heck of a time explaining why a month and a half before launch they dont have actual machines running...

The iGrad shirt was sold as my class' senior shirt. I could probably sell the template to some print shops around here, since copyright doesn't protect against parodies. :) The back of the shirt had an iTunes playlist that looked like the actual GUI and had Now Playing: Harris County Class of 2006, and the people's names (285) were in columns so that some people were song names, some people were times, some people were artists, some albums, and some genres. It was a big hit. :D

The safe sex shirt will only be on sale if threadless.com decides to print it. :(

I think Sony needs to shut a lot of mouths at TGS. This year hasnt been too kind to them in the PR department and they need to show their critics that the 600+ bucks needed to get a PS3 is gonna blow them away...

For some reason coded arms is in my sights...I hated the game for the PSP but I think with the power of the PS3 mabe they can make it a whole lot better.

FPS are a no no on handhelds.....

Doom GBA was very good. Running Doom on a 14mhz CPU anywhere I wanted back in 2001/2002 was very nice.
