MBP overclocking [Archive]

I'm overclocking my mbp using ati tool .25 beta 13. I have it at 400/400, whats the highest i could safely go? Also is it going to stay at this speed when i switch it over to OSX?

I'm not sure how high you can safely go, but the settings will not stay the same when using OS X.

Yeah, I've done it on my eMac.
Not sure if it's universal though... plus you run the risk of cooking your video card with any OC software.

I run 430/400 safely in Windows... runs very hot on my lap though :P

Does *anyone* know of an alternative for overclocking it on OS X though? Or if anythings even in the pipeline?

Nope... but Windows performs better for pretty much all games anyway, so if you're going to be gaming: just reboot.
