Greetings,
I've just bought a MacBook Pro so I no longer need my iMac. I originally purchased the iMac because it cost less and had a bigger screen than the MacBook Pros. But I am finding that I don't use it nearly as often as I used my old G4 laptop.
So back I go to portables. I wanted to get a sense for how much it was worth. It's the standard configuration: 250 GB hard drive, X1600 w/128MB VRAM. I have upgraded the memory to 2GB from the original 512MB.
It's not that old, purchased this year. I am thinking around $1200. Your opinion?

I think that is a really fair price with the memory upgrade and all. If I had the money right now I would pay it.

I didn't. But I haven't had any problems with kernal panics.
