display isnt functioning

I just recieved my macbook pro 4 days ago and it was functioning normally until today when I started it up and my screen looked like this. I tried re-installing os-x and it still didnt fix it. what should I do?

Take it back, or call Apple. It looks to me that that is the work of a lot of magnetism... Also, you could reset the PRAM at least three times in a row at start up, maybe that works, it couldn't do any harm.

Just quickly, I don't know that you should reset the PRAM more than once. :o
