I Just Tried to download a sttarcraft demo from downloads.com, when the file was finished it was just a word file the file is called StarcraftDemo.sit, is that the problem how do I Play the game

You need Stuffit (http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/) to uncompress the file.

I thought every mac comes with Stuff It expander on it? All my macs always had it even when I did clean OS installs on OS 9 and X. Either way it's a free download for ya so no worries.

Stuffit is not made by Apple. Also, Stuffit compression is not that widely used.

Huh, i guess i must be downloading really old files, my mini always opens stuffit expander when i download a file :o

All Macs come with Stuffit Expander.
