migration qustions

ok so i got a macbook a while ago and it has one of the many problems that macbooks have

so i want to return it and use migration to transfer my stuff i was just wondering dose it transfer everything? all my custom icons and all my info on boot-camp and settings in my apps? I also have more stuff but if it transfers that i think it will transfer everything.:D
