Hello all,

I'm hesitating in buying a second hand Mac with OS X Tiger, Office, iLife...

Thing is, the guy bought the Mac and all the software in a non-english speaking country and I'd like to know if I could install it all in English?

Thanks,

appledu

As long as English is still intact on the machine, all you need to do is to change the language preference. If not, you should re-install it from the original disks.

I plan on doing a clean install anyway,

What I really want to know, is whether Office can be installed in English from a foreign disc?

Yep. I changed my Office language to English on my Windows PC at work here in France, so I'm sure you can in OS X as well.

Really?

I can't manage where I work...how did you do it without reinstalling?

Also, just to clarify, I'm not talking about the spellchecker, but the menus...

I had to reinstall from the Office disks. You did mention that you wanted to install in English from a foreign disk. This is what I did.
