best video capture device?

Hey folks,

So, I have a bunch of VHS tapes that I'd like to capture and then throw away. Obviously I'd like the captures to be as good of quality as possible; equal to the quality currently on the tapes.

Any suggestions on a USB or Firewire device that fits the bill, preferably one that isn't too expensive?

ForMac makes a couple of devices that you should look at http://www.formac.com

Don't get a USB device, it will not reach VHS quality.
