who cares about extra features if it makes the app feel cluttered and less intuitive? the only extra feature that's actually cool is the eyeTV connectability stuff. btw, this app crashes A TON. there's just nothing like some good quality apple software:)

Media Center has NEVER crashed on me. :)

I really wish that Apple would come out with a version of Front Row that has the PVR functionality of MCE.

However, I had no luck in “pairing” the remote that came with my MacBook Pro with the Mac Pro system I’m testing. I have it connected to a Cinema Display with an iSight attached. I repeatedly tried to pair the iSight and the Apple Remote, all to no avail. This seems to be a problem with the two hardware items, not with MediaCentral itself. I plan to try remote usage later with Keyspan’s RF Remote for Front Row (look for our upcoming review).I trust this reviewer wholeheartedly. I also got a good laugh...

It was way better when it had less features and was free. There's no other freeware out there that's as good.
