My bet? One date will yield a new iPod. The other will be Mac-only. The other new iPod will come in october.
 
nope, I don't think there will be one. Hopefully they don't even TRY to release the long rumoured "true" video ipod until they have a 100% perfect design and non-scratch screen. Maybe some sort of nano? That is the next to be updated.
 
Whenever the date...it is going to be soon...perhaps very soon!

The nano was introduced Sept. 7th last year. That is a loooooooong time in the technology world...
 
Where’s the iPod with the toachpad rumors? I think you might see higher capacities on the iPod Nanos, but that is it.
 
If Apple releases any new iPods BEFORE October 15, by the time the Holiday shopping season begins people will have already forgotten about them.

If they release new iPods between October 15 and November 1, they will be fresh in people's minds, and once again iPods will be the hottest gift for the Holidays.
